The research on these weight loss products varies greatly in depth and results, but many of them have been found to have dangerous side effects. Ephedra (ephedrine), for example, is derived from a "natural" Chinese herb, ma huang. Ephedra was taken off the market after more than 80 reported deaths and 1400 reported adverse effects.

This is actually a very small amount of deaths compared to most pharmaceutical drugs (so you probably know how I feel about pharmaceutical drugs). Over 40,000 people die each year from the use of over-the-counter painkillers like aspirin.

Even so, why take a chance?

It's very SIMPLE to lose weight the healthy, natural weight, by eating a healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, berries, nuts, seeds and legumes.
